Zoom Integration

Connect Zoom as your video conferencing provider for Aura-scheduled calls

Aura for Zoom

Connect your Zoom account to Aura so that every call booked through your Aura booking links automatically generates a Zoom meeting link. After the call, Aura processes the recording for AI-powered analysis, coaching insights, and pipeline updates.

Prerequisites: You need a Zoom account (Free or higher) and an active Aura account with a connected calendar.

Required Permissions

Aura requests only the permissions it needs to create and manage meeting links:

PermissionWhy Aura Needs It
View and manage meetingsCreate Zoom meeting links for booked calls and read meeting details
View user profileIdentify your Zoom account and display your name on booking pages
View meeting recordingsAccess cloud recordings after calls for AI analysis

All communication between Aura and Zoom uses TLS 1.2+ encryption. Aura follows OAuth 2.0 and never stores your Zoom password.

Using the Integration

How It Works

Once connected, the integration is automatic:

  1. A prospect books a call through your Aura booking link
  2. Aura creates a Zoom meeting and includes the join link in the calendar invite
  3. Both you and the prospect receive the Zoom link in the confirmation email
  4. After the call, Aura processes the cloud recording for AI analysis

What Aura Does with Your Zoom Data

Meeting Links

Automatically generates unique Zoom meeting links for every booked call

Recording Processing

After a call ends, Aura retrieves the cloud recording for transcription and AI-powered analysis

Call Outcomes

Meeting status (completed, no-show, cancelled) syncs to your Aura pipeline automatically

Coaching Insights

AI analyzes your call recordings to surface objections, talk ratio, and performance coaching

Scheduling Calls with Zoom

Zoom meetings are created automatically when calls are booked. You can also schedule calls manually:

  1. Go to the Pipeline in Aura
  2. Open a lead and click "Schedule Call"
  3. Choose an available time slot
  4. Aura creates the Zoom meeting and sends calendar invites to both parties

Tip: Set Zoom as your default conferencing provider in Settings so all new booking links use Zoom automatically.
