Business Profile

Tell Aura's AI about your business so it grades calls in your context, not someone else's

Business Profile

The Business Profile page tells Aura's AI who you are, what you sell, and who you sell to. The AI uses this to grade your calls — a B2B SaaS pitch gets scored differently than a fitness coaching offer, because they should be.

Only Admins can edit the Business Profile.

What we ask for

Industry

What kind of business you're in. Gives the AI a baseline for the kind of conversation to expect.

Offer

What you actually sell — a service, a product, a coaching program, a software subscription, a package. Write it like you'd describe it to a friend who's never heard of your company.

The AI uses this to recognize when your closer is pitching what you actually sell vs. when they're freelancing.

ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)

Who you serve. Helps the AI judge:

  • Did the closer ask the right discovery questions for this kind of customer?
  • Did the conversation surface pain points that actually matter to your ICP?
  • Was the qualification thorough enough for the kind of deal you're trying to close?

Coaching preferences

Optional. Tells the AI whether to lean strict (good for experienced closers who want honest feedback) or constructive (good for newer reps who need scaffolding).

Display currency

Your default currency for revenue numbers across the app. USD, EUR, GBP, etc. This affects how money shows up in your dashboards. It doesn't affect Stripe — your Stripe products keep whatever currency they have.

Auto-fill from your website

The form has an Extract from website button. Paste your homepage URL and our AI reads the public copy and fills in your offer, ICP, and industry for you. You can edit anything it suggests before saving.

This is the same extraction we offer during onboarding if you opt into the fast-setup path.

Why this matters

Without a Business Profile, our AI grades your calls against a generic sales rubric. With one, it's much sharper:

  • For B2B SaaS, it weights financial qualification harder because procurement is a real thing
  • For high-ticket coaching, it weights emotional depth in discovery harder
  • For self-serve product offers, it flags overselling

You'll see this in the coaching feedback on each call — once the profile's set, the missed questions and line rewrites become noticeably more specific to your actual business.
