Audit Trail

A complete log of who did what in your account — for security, compliance, and figuring out "wait, who deleted that?"

Audit Trail

The Audit Trail is your account's full history — every meaningful action that happens, logged with who did it and when. It's the page you go to when:

  • You need to know who changed a setting
  • A teammate says "that wasn't me" and you need to verify
  • You're going through a security or compliance review
  • Something disappeared and you're trying to trace it back

Only Admins and Owners can see the Audit Trail.

What gets logged

Most actions in Aura get logged. Some examples:

CategoryWhat's tracked
MembersWho was invited, who joined, who left, role changes
SettingsBranding changes, business profile updates, default availability changes
Booking linksCreated, edited, disabled, deleted, URL rotated
Leads & callsStatus changes, reassignments, deleted records
API keysCreated, revoked, used (last-used timestamp)
Outbound webhooksSubscriptions created/deleted, secrets rotated
BillingPlan changes, subscription updates
Sign-insSuccessful and failed sign-in attempts

If you're wondering whether something is logged, the safe assumption is yes.

What you see for each event

Every entry shows:

  • When — exact timestamp
  • Who — the team member who did it
  • What — a plain description of what happened
  • Where from — IP address and rough location, when available

For most events you can also click in to see the "before and after" — what the setting was before the change vs. after. Useful when you need to know exactly what someone changed, not just that they touched it.

Filtering and searching

The full audit log can get long for active teams, so we give you ways to narrow it down:

FilterWhat it does
Date rangeJust events from a specific period
MemberJust actions by one person
CategoryJust one type of event (e.g., only billing-related)
SearchFree-text search across event descriptions

How long we keep events

We keep audit events indefinitely for active accounts. If you ever need a copy for a compliance review, you can export the filtered view to CSV from this page.
