Connect HubSpot

You must be an Aura admin to do this.

Steps

1. In Aura, select Integrations in the left menu.
2. Find the HubSpot card. It has an Early access tag. Select Connect.
3. Select Connect HubSpot at the bottom of the page.
4. HubSpot opens. Sign in if it asks you to.
5. Pick the HubSpot account you want to use.
6. Read the list of things Aura asks to do. The screen says the app is by aurasales.io. It also says This app hasn't been reviewed or approved by HubSpot. That is expected, because Aura isn't on the HubSpot App Marketplace yet. Select Connect app.
7. The first time you connect, HubSpot shows one more box: Connecting an unverified app. Type I accept the risk in the box, then select Connect.
8. HubSpot sends you back to Aura. You see the message HubSpot connected.

What you see after you connect

At the top is the Connection part of the page. It shows:

• HubSpot account: the account you linked.
• Connected HubSpot user: the person who approved Aura.
• Last checked: when Aura last checked that the link works.
• Settings refreshed: when Aura last loaded your pipelines and users.

Below that are four tabs:

• Default sync: the sync switches. Start here.
• Pipeline mapping: your pipeline, your stages and your deal names.
• Field mapping: where your booking answers go.
• Owner mapping: who owns the records Aura makes.

You will also see a yellow note: Nothing is sent to HubSpot yet. That is normal. Every switch starts off.

Next steps

1. Turn on the sync switches you want.

If connecting does not work

Aura shows a message that says what went wrong. Here is what to do for each one.

Always start from the Connect HubSpot button in Aura. Don't use an old HubSpot link. The link only works for the person who started it.
