Reconnect or disconnect
Fix a broken link to HubSpot, or turn it off. See what happens to your data.
Reconnect or disconnect
Reconnect fixes a link that stopped working. Disconnect turns HubSpot off in Aura.
Reconnect HubSpot
Reconnect when Aura shows Needs reconnect, or a red notice with a Reconnect HubSpot button.
- Open Integrations and select HubSpot.
- Select Reconnect HubSpot in the red notice.
- HubSpot opens. Pick the same HubSpot account as before.
- Approve Aura.
- HubSpot sends you back to Aura. You see HubSpot connected.
What stays the same: your switches, your pipeline and stages, your deal name, your field mapping and your owner mapping. Records already linked stay linked.
Pick the same HubSpot account. Aura keeps your saved stages and owners, and its links to the contacts and deals it made. All of these belong to your first account. If you pick a different account, they don't match it. To move to a new HubSpot account, contact support first.
Updates that happened while the link was broken are not sent later on their own. To fill the gap, use Send past leads and calls. It sends leads and calls that never reached HubSpot, and skips the ones that did. A deal that missed a stage change moves the next time its lead moves in Aura.
Disconnect HubSpot
- Open Integrations and select HubSpot.
- At the bottom of the page, select Disconnect HubSpot.
- Read the list of what is deleted and what stays.
- Select Disconnect HubSpot again to confirm. Or select Cancel.
You see HubSpot disconnected. Aura stops all updates to and from HubSpot right away. Aura also asks HubSpot to remove its access.
What disconnect deletes in Aura
- Your sync switches
- Your pipeline and stage choices
- Your deal name
- Your owner mapping and fallback owner
- Your legal basis for new contacts
If you connect again later, you set these up again.
What stays
- Every contact, deal, meeting and note already in HubSpot. Aura never deletes them.
- Your field mapping in Aura, ready for when you reconnect.
- The fields Aura added in HubSpot, such as
aura_call_id.
Leads and calls in Aura are not changed.
Remove the app in HubSpot too
Disconnecting in Aura is enough. If you also want to check HubSpot, open Settings in HubSpot. Then go to Integrations, then Connected Apps.
If someone removes Aura from inside HubSpot first, Aura shows Needs reconnect. Then you can reconnect, or disconnect in Aura to clear it.
